Research activity 2

This activity taught me a lot about open access research and the importance of copyright. We read the textbook and many articles where I learned the steps of publishing academic journals, how many do not have access to these journals due to the cost, and the issue of published journals getting leaked. While many beleive that research should be free, creating open access information takes money and resources. There are a lot more factors and things at stake when publishing research, which is not common knowledge to many people my age.

My revisions of this assingment included fixing some grammatical deteails and adding more information about certain topics I mentioned. I split up some paragraphs to create a clearer argument and organize my thoughts and information better. I also added information regarding professors' need to publish research to keep their tenure, as suggested by my professor. No huge revisions were needed, but minor ones were completed.
