How to Combat

About HUD

[RE] Battle Slot [HUD] will be equipped.
The upper row contains item slots, and the lower row contains combat command slots.

When you open the menu, combat commands will be displayed.
Click an icon to view command details.

• Commands not yet usable → displayed in gray text
• Commands that can be learned → displayed in green text
• Commands that are usable → displayed in white text

Combat commands are unlocked as your combat proficiency increases.
Combat proficiency rises through battles with monsters.

When a command is shown in green text (＝ unlocked), click its icon and select “Learn.”
Commands you have learned can be assigned to the combat command slots.

※ To execute “Learn,” you will need the monster rare-drop item Battle Skill Scroll.
It is tradeable, so you may want to search for it on the market.

About Combat

Click a combat command slot while a weapon is equipped to activate the command (skill).
Hit detection varies depending on the command.
If it’s difficult to land a hit on a monster, try stepping back slightly.

Activating commands requires stamina, and the amount needed differs for each command.
When a command slot is grayed out, it means you do not have enough stamina.

Base attack power depends on the equipped weapon.
Like tools, weapons also have durability (a limited number of uses).
When durability runs out, it can be restored at the blacksmith.

If your HP reaches 0 during combat, you will be automatically teleported to the inn.
Rest in a bed at the inn to recover your HP.
