The Division of Science and Math is dedicated to delivering a high-quality undergraduate science program tailored to a diverse student population. Through innovative instruction, applied research, internships, and service-learning initiatives aimed at fostering ethical values, the Division prepares graduates to tackle the challenges of both the global marketplace and public sector organizations.
Major Area Study
The Division of Science and Mathematics offers the following degrees: Bachelor of Science in Biology, Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. In addition, the Division also collaborates with the Division of Education to offer degrees in Biology Education and Mathematics Education. Divisional Learning Outcomes
Students in the Division of Science and Math are required to complete core courses designed to equip them with fundamental applied knowledge and skills necessary for success in today's scientific landscape. Upon completion of science courses, students will be able to:
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, utilizing appropriate qualitative and quantitative techniques.
Integrate general knowledge across science disciplines to develop strategic recommendations that address diverse and global challenges.
