🌟 Community Involvement

I am actively engaged in a range of local and national initiatives that reflect my commitment to education, service, and advocacy:

• American Chemical Society (ACS) – Actively involved in chemistry advocacy and K–12 education initiatives, including service as Chair of the SOCED K–12 Subgroup, where I help shape national strategies for promoting chemistry in schools.

• Growing Together Aquaponics, Inc. (GTA) – Supporting sustainable agriculture and STEM learning through hands-on community projects.
  
  

• First Choice Federal Credit Union – Serving on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer, supporting community-focused financial literacy and responsible stewardship.
  
  

• Youngstown State University Beeghly College of Education – Member of the Educational Advisory Board, supporting teacher preparation, curriculum alignment, and education program development.
  
  

• National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) – Member of the Coordination and Supervision of Science Teaching Committee, contributing to national efforts to strengthen science education leadership.

• Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) – Advocating for best practices in curriculum leadership and student-centered learning.

• International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) – Active member contributing to the global advancement of chemistry through standardized practices, nomenclature, and outreach.
