My Work with Youngstown State University:

As a dedicated advocate for educational excellence, I serve on the Educational Advisory Board for the Beeghly College of Education at Youngstown State University. In this role, I collaborate closely with the Dean of the College to ensure the continued development and improvement of teacher preparation programs.

Our board is committed to a data-informed approach, regularly analyzing input from key stakeholders including students, mentor teachers, and university faculty. This collaborative process allows us to evaluate and refine the course expectations and requirements for field experiences and student teaching. By aligning university instruction with the realities of today’s classrooms, we aim to better prepare future educators for meaningful, impactful careers.
