Musa Toussaint

Relatively new to running, however, not new to athletics, Musa Toussaint is a lifelong athlete who has quickly fallen in love with running. As a standout two-sport athlete in his hometown of Miami, Florida. Toussaint excelled at both football and basketball at Miami Jackson High School, which consequently earned him a scholarship to play wide receiver at Chowan College.

Many years later Toussaint began to use running as an outlet and has become a quick study. He has participated in many road races ranging from 5k to the half-marathon. Toussaint realizes the positive impact and power of running, so much so that he has committed to sharing his passion with his community, in the Dorchester/Roxbury neighborhoods of Boston, where he has resided for nearly 20 years.

With that being said, Toussaint hosts community runs and has now joined The Running Edge as a coordinator for youth programming and development, to help get young people active in his community.
