LOVE YOURSELF
Do you love yourself?
In a world that inundates us with all the ways we fall short - unless we just...
buy this one serum, own this one bag, visit this one place... do you know how to love yourself?

My birthday is in September.
Ever since I turned 28, I have a full blown existential crisis (🤣) around the week before my birthday every year.
Did I do enough? Did I grow enough? Did I help enough?
Don't get me wrong - I don't think this is bad.
I think we all love BTS on some level because we've witnessed and admired their relentless pursuit of growth over the years as artists and individuals, as brothers and colleagues, as unique experts as well as teammates.
But there's an important difference in the journey depending on your motivation for wanting to change yourself [even for the better]
When you love yourself and pursue growth from a place of joy and fullness, you recognize yourself accurately (strengths and weaknesses) and are investing the time, attention, and resources to cultivate your best parts, tend to the rough bits, and prune the worst parts - for the sake of your own flourishing. It's honest and good and it begets more honesty and more good. The beginning of confidence is accurate self-awareness.
VERSUS
When you maybe doubt/hate/don't know yourself and pursue change from a place of uncertainty, you might chase growth in order to validate your worth, to 'earn' your place, or to qualify for your self-love *once you hit some kind of milestone* - and even the best of us flip flop between these two parallel paths all the time.
No matter where you are, I'd like to invite you to spend some time, each day in September, taking time to discover/re-discover the ways that you are [already] beautiful, inside and out, and log it in a meaningful way.
