For honors students: There will be a problem for honors students biweekly in problem sets. Every honors student should at least make an attempt on each honors problem. Whether or not a student receives the honors designation will be determined based on his/her performance on those honors problems.


Textbook: Principles of Mathematical Analysis by W. Rudin (Third Edition)


Grading: Homework-20%; Midterm 1-20%; Midterm 2-20%; Final-40%;

We will have two midterms. The first being in-class in Ingraham 22 on 10/11 (F). The second is in Van Vleck Hall B239 during 7:15pm-8:30pm on 11/13 (W).

The final exam is on Dec 14, 2019, 7:45a.m.-9:45a.m. in SOC SCI 6102
