Textbook: Complex Analysis by by E. Stein, R. Shakarchi (Errata released by Princeton University Press)

We plan to cover Chapters 1-3 (excluding Section 5.5 of Chapter 2), Sections 1-3 of Chapter 8 and part of Chapter 5. You are expected to read the material in the textbook that I covered. A good idea is to spend 3*time of a lecture reading and digesting the material in the textbook. You are encouraged to read the rest of the textbook and discuss anything in it with me (even after this semester)!

Grading: Homework-15%; Midterm 1-25%; Midterm 2-25%; Final-35%;

We will have two in-class midterms on 2/20 and 4/3, respectively.

The final exam is on Fri, May 16, 2025, 7:00p.m. - 10:00p.m. in Pimentel 1.
