Our coach education services

Ruggerbees Coach Education and Development Programme is devised to improve the standard of rugby coaching throughout the community, enabling practitioners a platform to enhance their coaching/teaching practice

We reach the coaches working within the community, using our extensive experience of supporting coaches/teachers through many years as a lead of a rugby programme in academies, schools and clubs. We have the necessary support and experience to help and support clubs, schools and community rugby coaches of all levels and experience. A summary of what we offer is below: 

• Come to you for coach education sessions at your respective clubs and schools, running exciting, engaging and memorable CPD

• Provide access to exclusive coaching content through weekly videos on media platforms 

• A further remote education through an online portal with access to a wide range of resources 

• Creative teaching resources aligned to your specific age group you are coaching 

• 72 hours feedback and response service allowing us to meet the needs of you as a coach, school or club.  

• We can align a full coaching programme with your clubs ethos and aims to create a complete player pathway

We have a range of topics we cover to show the coaches how we coach in our programme; using our player model as a framework to base our coaching development from.

At Ruggerbees, our work extends across the county as we also deliver official coach education on behalf of Devon RFU, strengthening coaching standards and helping grow the game within our local rugby community.In addition are proud to provide high‑quality coach education and development programme for Barnstaple RFC, supporting coaches at all levels to deliver safe, engaging and age‑appropriate rugby experiences. We are also actively engaged with a variety of others clubs and school in Devon and Surrey, offering a remote coach education package for coaches. 

As an organisation with a strong and active affiliation to Devon RFU , we are committed to raising coaching excellence, nurturing young players, and supporting clubs across North Devon and beyond.
