What is a the purpose of this training?

The purpose of this learning object is for learners to use Respondus Monitor and Lockdown browser to deliver online exams with minimal academic dishonesty. The learners will also learn best practices to instruct their students so to reduce the need to cheat.

How will this training be conducted?

The participants will complete the training online. Respondus Monitor and LDB are already integrated into the LMS at UTRGV so no additional software will be needed for the participants to purchase.

Is there any required Hardware/Software?

Required Hardware/Software:

• Computer – Any modern computer will suffice.

• Web browser – Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome are most preferred with Blackboard however any of the more popular browsers will work just fine.

How long will training take?

The training will be asynchronous and will run over a period of 3 weeks.
