The RTA Foundation Board was able to provide scholarships for five (5) students that will be moving onto their post-secondary education. We are proud of our outgoing seniors and where they will land--- hopefully back in the Renton School District as teachers! 

Naomi, Mia, and Lucy received $1000 scholarships

Aurora & Teagan received $500 scholarships

This year, with the Renton Teacher Academy continuing to grow and grow, the usual way this banquet happened had to change the way that we recognize the hard work. Carla Smith, RWT Coordinator, along with Vanessa Barut Del-Fierro (Renton HS) , Derrick Holt (Lindbergh HS), Shannon Rance (Hazen HS), and Stacey Gasparovic (Talley HS)  have prepared their students in creating a wonderful showcase of the learning that has occurred. It was a wonderfu night hosting over 100+ people from students, staff, mentor teachers, families, community stakeholders, and district staff. We are excited to continue to support this work.
