NCOP Project

A select group of Year 10 learners have completed a project ran by ‘The Brilliant Club’, where they experienced the reality of studying at University. The launch event was held at Leeds University where learners were able to experience a day in the life of a university student by attending lectures and seminars, alongside a tour of the university. Over the past few months learners have had to submit weekly assignments surrounding their research topic of ‘Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Multiple Sclerosis’. The course finished with learners completing a final assignment of 2000 words. All learners successful passed the course with some outstanding results, especially from Alicia and Tia, who both achieved a “First”. A massive congratulations to all learners who took part in the programme, their hard work will be celebrated at a graduation ceremony at Manchester University on 13th February.
