Introducing RSC lab
RSC(Robust and safe control) lab is a research group in the school of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea, led by Prof. Hyung Tae Choi.
Our lab aims to develop mathematical and control-theoretic arguments to ensure the robustness and safety of control systems. We're also interested in applying our developed methods to practical control systems such as robotic systems and autonomous vehicles.
Positions opening at RSC
We're looking for students to work with. We'll welcome students with at least one of the following skills or interest.
1) Students who are interested in dealing with control systems (e.g., robotic manipulator, mobile robots, autonomous vehicles, ...)
2) Students who enjoy applying mathematical ideas or machine learning techniques in engineering
3) Students who want to secure job positions in the field of control or robotics
We currently have the following positions opened (Sep. 24, 2025):
Undergraduate students (research intern)
Several positions opened (but less than 5) for undergraduate students.
Graduate students (Master/Doctoral/Integrated)
A few positions (2~3) may be available (but require discussions) in the upcoming semesters (Spring 2026 or Fall 2026).
