Applications are invited for the position of Project Associate-I under the Project titled “Development of Energy Efficient Prototype Device for Electrochemical Synthesis of Ammonia: Investigating Pathways to Enhance Ammonia Production Rate” in the School of Chemical and Materials Science, IIT Goa. The project is sponsored by the Science & Engineering Research Board (A statutory body of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India).

The project involves the synthesis of various materials and material characterization; the same materials will be evaluated for the electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction and the development of a prototype device for ammonia synthesis. The project staff will get exposure to various electrochemical techniques.

Qualification:

• B.E/M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering / Nanotechnology / Materials Engineering / Biotechnology or Relevant branch OR M.Sc. in Chemistry / Physics or Allied subjects

• Must have a valid GATE, NET-LS/JRF or equivalent exam.
