Theyre installed in emulation/storage/rpcs3/dev_hdd0/games, which I have pointed the parser towards. It tests and shows the games. They show up if I add them as a non-steam game, but Id like them to show in ES so theyre all together in one place.

So I have played Demon souls for a few hours on rpcs3 with a wired xbox360 controller. I now have a Steam Link and wireless Dualshock4 controller for my tv. When the controller is plugged into my PC and rpcs3 booted, it recognizes the controller. When I run the rpcs3.exe from steam as a 'non-steam game' it boots properly but the log reads "[ds4] no controllers found". I have read other threads related to this issue and tried all the obvious suggestions such as making rcps3.exe run as Adminstrator, and edited the steam controller configuration to "Gamepad with Camera Controls" instead of mouse/keyboard. At this point i have no idea how to have rpcs3 recognize my controller when ran through steam link

in any case. I'm running GNOME on Wayland, amdgpu drivers on a 6800 XT, 6.1.27-1-lts kernel. it's been quite good for me, until I just discovered a reproducible and frankly baffling crash: if I open rpcs3 (installed via the rpcs3-bin in AUR), choose File -> Install Packages, and then select multiple files in the file selector that pops up... Wayland crashes completely, dumping me out to my login manager. behaviour doesn't occur if I login with the same GNOME session under X11.

I was playing KH HD 1.5 and then the game froze while the music kept playing. I killed the process in the task manager but then when I tried to launch RPCS3 again it told me there was still an instance going. I went back into the task manager and there was one indeed but I couldn't kill it so I restarted my PC (I did an unplug just to be safe) and when I restarted it I still had the same issue but now there's only an RPCS3.exe in details, not process. When I try to kill it, it says "Access Denied". I tried to kill it in CMD with "taskkill -f -im rpcs3.exe" but it says "the process "rpcs3.exe" PID 13032 could not be stopped".

I heard online it's related to the latest Nvidia drivers but do you guys have any help ? I also cannot delete rpcs3.exe from my folder because it says the app is still running, and it does take 1.3GB of ram from my PC.

Hi, I am new to Batocera but not new to the emulation and frontends. Do I need to do something special in Batocera linux to see my ps3 games? I have installed them in rpcs3 and can launch them from there but there is no system for PS3 in the front end. Maybe I need to create some gamelist file?

This is a different issue but maybe someone has experimented installing rpcs3 games on the external hard drive and making them run successfully. So in other words having batocera on external drive 1 and rpcs3 hhd_0 folder on the external drive 2?

RPCS3 stores its data in $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/rpcs3. More game directories can be added. It differentiates between disc dumps and downloaded (PSN) games. Put disc dumps into the disc directory and the downloaded ones into the game directory.

If the game once worked perfectly and suddenly stopped working after starting it, clear the cache. It is usually found in $XDG_CACHE_HOME/rpcs3 and is safe to remove. This location only contains logs and other things that can be regenerated without problems, like compiled shaders and PPU modules. Removing this will cause the next startup to be slower. 2351a5e196
