I'm looking at getting a nice gaming mat but I've don't want to spend it on the wrong size of board. I'm thinking of getting a 6'X4' just in case there are large battles, but it looks like 4'X4' will be the standard? Would it be smart of me to invest in a larger gaming table just in case?

When I first read about the massive 100GB download size for the PC version of Middle-earth: Shadow of War, I didn't really believe it. How could that be as some of the largest games I've seen hover around the 50GB mark. Well, either way, I set off to download the game and HA! It's only 64GB of download mania. Feeling like the media had over blown the size and exagerrated quite a bit, I felt like a geek liberated. I launched the game and quickly realized I was missing two bits of content: Ultra quality textures and 4K cinematic movies. I quickly kicked off the download (after having to reset Steam) and guess what? Another 34 GB of downloads started. Holy mother of Pearl, that is a huge freaking game!

Kazad-dum...Amon-Hen...Helm's Deep...Pelennor Fields... These are the fields of battle where the ultimate conflict between good and evil must be fought to decide the fate of Middle-earth. Collect legions of warriors and recreate the epic battles of Middle-earth from The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
Dragons lived throughout the First, Second, and Third ages of Middle-earth and may have lived longer. They were originally bred by Morgoth during the First Age to serve as powerful war beasts. The first dragon ever seen in Middle-earth was Glaurung, titled as the Great Worm and the Father of Dragons, whom Morgoth used to great effect during the fourth and fifth battles in the War of the Great Jewels. Glaurung had four legs and breathed fire, though he was wingless and lacked the ability to fly. Like most of the creatures made or twisted by Morgoth, Dragons were capable of reproducing independently. Dragons were sometimes referred to as Great-Serpents, Long-Worms, or simply Drakes, with the first two specifying the Serpent-like Dragons.In the First Age, the greatest heirloom of the House of Hador was the Dragon-helm of Dor-lmin, a helm of great weight that had as its crest an image of Glaurung's head.[4] After Glaurung, even mightier dragons were bred to serve Morgoth. The largest and most powerful dragon to ever live was Ancalagon the Black, who led his kind in the final charge against the Valar in the War of Wrath at the close of the First Age. Most of Morgoth's dragons, including Ancalagon, were killed in this battle.[5] However, some survived and fled eastward to the Northern Waste of the remaining Middle-earth, where, in later years, they would slowly multiply.
There are certainly times when some of these words: host, army, company, band are used outside of this context. For example: host can refer to the whole of a people which includes males, females and children, not just the warriors, or "the war-high",[2] to use Tolkien's own phrase. At times, army can mean a singular fighting force of no set size, as can company, or host. Within the context of most battle, or war, descriptions these terms are generally consistent throughout the canon.[3] More modern military terms such as battalion and regiment see occasional use, but are not widespread.

Just go into the menu on the campaign map, go into the Game options tab (can't remember it's name off the top of my head) and you'll have options for arcade battles, advisor interference, etc, in there. It'll be one of the tabs, in the least. But you need 1.2 or higher, if I remember correctly. As for unit size, that's stuck for your current campaign. If you started an old campaign on small, and have another on large and another on huge, they will all remain at the scale you had set at the start of the campaign - meaning you need to start a new campaign on the new unit size.EDIT: Didn't notice you're last post where you confirmed you can turn off the battle timer, Spartan...lol...I usually only skim topics sometimes, so I miss whether people have already replied with what I would have said.(\_/)
