Studying the social lives of stars with 1D models and large surveys

Hi! I'm Rachel, a Fellow and Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Astronomy at The Ohio State University. I'm interested in how interaction within stellar binaries affects the subsequent evolution and death of the stars involved.

I originally hail from Johns Creek, Georgia, but now pass my days in Ohio, working with Marc Pinsonneault on various topics related to stellar structure and evolution. Click around the website to learn more about me, my research, and the outreach in which I'm involved.

You can find my CV here and a list of my publications here.
