How do I join RAGA?

Please complete the online form, or you can pop into the shop for a chat and a form (Sundays at 11:00am).
Membership is £5 annually.
You can even join without a plot as a garden member.

What are the benefits of joining RAGA?

●Access to our on-site shop with a wide variety of products at very competitive prices - open on Sundays from 11-11.30am.

● The chance to pick-up second-hand tools from our shed for a fair donation.

● A yearly opportunity to order great value seed potatoes and onion sets (after our AGM in September) for Spring delivery.

● Access to the Kings Seeds NAS Members Discount Scheme, providing a dedicated members’ seed catalogue with 40% discount on retail seed prices. You can setup an online account via us, enabling you to order yourself anytime throughout the year, or you can place a paper order at the same time as the annual potato and onion order as above.

● A steady supply of manure and woodchip (just £1.50 a barrow or 5 barrows for £7).

● Community events, such as our Open Day.

● Annual trips to inspiring gardens, social events and speakers.

● Affiliate membership of The National Allotment Society (NSALG), including access to quarterly magazines and newsletters, gardening advice and the opportunity to enrol for free Allotmenteers’ Liability Insurance – please note you need to separately agree to take up this offer via the online or paper form.

● A friendly, dedicated Committee on hand to give advice, and who work together to improve the site for everyone.

● Any RAGA profits are put towards site improvements, maintenance, and events; with the exception of landlord costs, which are covered by the Council.

• Water; In order to reduce our use of tap water on site we have also fitted a rain harvesting system which we will be developing in the future.
