Hello from the RAGA committee! If you have any queries or suggestions please speak to one of us, or email us at roystonragasecretary@gmail.com
Spotty dog wrangler, collector of carnivorous plants, beekeeper's assistant.
Prolific grower of plum tomatoes, chillies, and onions, and rather likes caulis, can be found at plot 21B.
We took on (a fairly wild) Plot 6A in 2008 and are finally starting to win the battle against the bindweed!
We enjoy growing a mixture of vegetables and flowers, avoiding the use of chemicals wherever possible, with our most successful crops being borlotti beans and the lavender hedge to attract bees and butterflies.
I’m looking forward to supporting the Association as Treasurer, with previous experience as Treasurer of a local Scout group as well as handling big budgets at work.
I got my plot 5B in 2012 and joined the committee soon after.
I enjoy growing my own fruit and vegetables and try to grow as many different things as I can every year.
We have had our plot 19A for at least 12 years, it's my own space to chill out from hectic house! I love my plot, although it can be challenging, it's also a great place to meet lovely people and make friends!
I look after the RAGA flower bed and the eco toilet.
I enjoy eating all different kinds of veg, trying out new ones and sharing with other plot holders.
We also have lots of volunteers who are essential in keeping the site well maintained; they get involved in working parties, unloading shop deliveries and supporting the services we offer. We also have a grass cutting rota for the main paths. Below are some of the key ones. If you are interested in getting involved in any way, please let someone from the committee know. We are always looking for extra hands on our maintenance days etc!
Thank you to all our volunteers!
