Roy's Taekwondo Academy (RTA) is a Pioneer Taekwondo Organization in India and an International member organization of World Taekwondo Head Quarters, Seoul, South Korea, GCS International (Special Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC) and member of many other International Organizations. I am glad to inform you that RTA in collaboration with World Taekwondo (WT) jointly organized 1st Official event of World Taekwondo (WT) in India in presence of Dr. Chung-won Choue, President of World Taekwondo (WT) where World famous World Taekwondo Demonstration Team performed 1st ever in India. Roy's Taekwondo Academy is the 1st Academy in India received recognition letter from the President of World Taekwondo for the contribution to the Taekwondo.

Legendary Taekwondo Personality Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy received most prestigious honour in the field of Taekwondo ~ “World Taekwondo Plaque of Appreciation” from the President of World Taekwondo for his significant contributions to the development and promotion of Taekwondo globally on 5th February 2020 in presence of National & International dignitaries including Vice President, Singapore National Olympic Council, President, Indian Olympic Association, Director General of World Taekwondo, His Excellency the Governor of West Bengal, His Excellency the Governor of Meghalaya, Hon'ble Minister of Horticulture & Food Processing Industries, Govt. of West Bengal, Secretary General of GCS International, President, Hockey India. This is the dream of every Taekwondo Pioneers.

In initiative of Grand Master Roy, His Excellency Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar Ji received most prestigious honour in the field of Taekwondo ~ “WT Honorary 7 Dan” from Dr. Chung-won Choue, President of World Taekwondo. His Excellency is the Hon’ble Vice President of India.

Roy's Taekwondo Academy brought KUKKIWON Demonstration Team 1st ever in India in 2011. In initiative of Roy's Taekwondo Academy 1st time Hon’ble Minister of Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt. Of India, received most prestigious Korean Honour ~ "KUKKIWON Honorary 7 Dan" on 17th May' 2015 at Kolkata, West Bengal, India and His Excellency the Governor of West Bengal received "KUKKIWON Honorary 5 Dan" at Raj Bhavan, Kolkata on 20th May 2015.

Roy's Taekwondo Academy brought Korea Taekwondo Association (KTA) Demonstration Team 1st ever in India in 2015 and many more.
