Winter Waltz
Winter Waltz was inspired by the image of a delicate blossom covered in snow. When I saw this scene, I was struck by the contrast between the coldness of winter and the quiet longing for spring—the anticipation of seeing the blossom beneath the snow.
The piece begins by evoking the chilly atmosphere of winter, with a sense of stillness, coldness, and waiting. As the music develops, the harmony gradually shifts into a major tonality, reflecting the moment when the blossom emerges through the snow and the beauty of spring becomes visible.
Winter Waltz explores the contrast between winter and spring, coldness and warmth, and waiting and renewal, transforming a simple image from nature into a musical expression of longing, beauty, and hope.
