About Me
I am a composer, pianist, and santur player from Iran.
My artistic practice focuses on translating images, deep emotions, memories, and lived experiences into sound and music.
Driven by a desire to break boundaries, I have always sought ways to create connections between different cultures and musical languages. My experience with both the piano and the Iranian santur, along with my understanding of Western harmonic structures and elements of Iranian music, allows me to bring these two musical worlds together. Through combining different instruments and musical elements, I explore new sounds and emotions.
For me, music is a universal language that can transform human pain, joy, emotions, and experiences into something shared, beyond cultural and geographical differences. I am currently exploring the combination of different instruments, sounds, and musical elements to create new emotions and experiences while breaking boundaries between cultures and musical worlds.
This approach is reflected in my recent album, The Moments. The album consists of six instrumental pieces, each expressing and reflecting a particular feeling, memory, or lived experience.
Alongside my artistic practice, I have more than eight years of experience in music education, teaching piano, santur, music theory, and composition. I hold a Diploma in Piano Pedagogy and am an ABRSM-certified teacher.
My music has been released internationally and is available on platforms such as Bandcamp, allowing my work to reach listeners beyond Iran.
