Hey team!
We added our parent meeting to the Sports Engine schedule. It will be after our first day of camp which will be Aug 16. We haven't been assigned a time yet, but when we know, you will know. Please RSVP to the meeting as a PARENT rsvp, not as a player.
The Royals will be in 2 leagues this year. The DVHL like in the past and the AHF which is the Blackbear owned rinks league. We will play 2 showcases and 8 games within that league which will give us different teams to play outside of our regular DVHL teams. There will be a playoff weekend also for the teams that make the playoffs. This is the inaugural year for this league.
I need each family to fill out this form for the AHF website and I need this info completed before July 28th.
I will also need to take player photos. Players will need to wear a shirt and tie with their dark jersey over top. I would like to take most of the players' photos before practice at the rink this Wednesday. Please bring a shirt and tie if you have one (or wear it there to be quicker) and your blue jersey. For players who will not be at practice on Wednesday, you can take yours the following week or I will catch up with you before Aug 1.
We will need 3 parent volunteers per game this season for all AHF games. There is a possibility that we will need to ask every family to have one person cleared with USA hockey for clearances and the safe sport course. We will be finding out specific info this week but if you have any interest in being scorekeeper/ clock operator or other required jobs, you can get a head start here:

As manager, I cannot do all the jobs. I def need some people to step up here. If one person per family can do this, we will be more than covered and GOLDEN. It gives us more options.
Please update your RSVP in sports engine for the scrimmage on Aug 2 if you haven't already so the coaches know who will be there.
