We hope you all had a great Thanksgving!
The Nelson and Greiner crew couldn't do a weekend without hockey so we joined the 3 on 3 tourney. It was eventful, including being asked to leave the ice for a power outage, a tailgate, irritating the crap out of an A National PeeWee player who couldn't get on top of us, and THE WIN! Woot! My mother-in-law asked if the guy in the middle was Gritty.... if only she knew how much he is NOT a Flyers fan! (photo attached)
Team Holiday Party -
Tentatively Dec 30th, Bowling, place TBD but save the date! Will be a family event. Not just the players. The boys have a pollyanna. Thank you to Cortney for organizing the name selections. Limit is $15. If you forget who your son has, we do have a list. Thank you to Jenn, Erin and Cortney for volunteering to organize this shindig.
Royals Club Party
Tentatively Jan 1 at Rev. Vince will ask us to bring something to contribute but we don't know what yet. As of right now, this is just a 'save the date' too.
Games this weekend
We have 2 games on Sunday and a short bench. Coach Shaun is in charge.

Phantoms Tickets are $20 each and the game is Saturday night. The game will not impact the tourney as I have already RSVP'd that we will be going to the game. Please click here to fill out the form for me to get your family tickets. I need orders for tickets by Dec 17 please (I am sure some can be bought at the door but may not be with our group) I will send a venmo request to those who order once we have all the orders on the form.

I have surgery on Monday so I will be avoiding the locker room, stands and wearing a mask this weekend. I am not writing this for sympathy but so you guys know I am not being rude or anti-social this weekend. They asked me to stay safe after my covid test on Friday. I will also not be allowed to carry anything for 6 weeks so I might need a hand with the hockey bag here and there until then. I will lighten the load though. History has proven we haven't needed the 47 medications I am carrying around "just in case" although now that I said it...... I better knock on wood!
