UP operates with Rolling Admissions beginning September 1. Because acceptance spots are filled quickly, we highly encourage students to apply well in advance of our January 15 final deadline. Submit all of the documents in the checklist, and our Office of Admissions will process them and review applications as they come in.

Checklist for Freshmen

• Application (either a UP Application or the Common Application)
• Official high school transcript(s)
• Official SAT or ACT scores (new or old SATs accepted)
• Secondary School Report / Recommendation Form
• Essay (follow application prompts)
• $50 application fee (checks payable to "University of Portland")

Applicants interested in Nursing must 1.) complete one year of chemistry by the end of their senior year and 2.) must declare Nursing as their intended major on the application.

Accepted students who wish to attend UP the upcoming fall must confirm their enrollment by May 1 (postmark date).
