Email quickmate.apps@gmail.com and a real person will answer, usually within two working days.
It helps to include your iOS version, your RoutiKid version (Settings, then About, then Version), and what you were doing when it went wrong. Please don't send photographs of your child — we never need them to help you.
SUBSCRIPTIONS AND BILLING
How do I cancel?
Cancelling is done in your Apple Account, not in RoutiKid — Apple does not let apps cancel subscriptions themselves.
• Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
• Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions
• Tap RoutiKid, then Cancel Subscription
Or go straight to https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions — Pro stays on until the end of the period you have already paid for.
I'm on a free trial and don't want to be charged
Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends using the steps above. You keep Pro for the rest of the trial and are not charged.
Deleting the app didn't cancel my subscription
It doesn't — subscriptions live in your Apple Account, not in the app. Cancel it using the steps above.
I paid but Pro isn't on
Open the subscription screen in RoutiKid and tap Restore Purchases. If nothing is found, check you are signed into the same Apple Account you bought it with — a subscription belongs to an Apple Account, not to a device. If it still doesn't appear, email us.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request one at https://reportaproblem.apple.com — tell us as well if something in the app caused it. We'd rather fix it.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes. Choose the other plan on the subscription screen, or change it in Subscriptions in your Apple Account. All plans are in one subscription group, so you always hold one at a time — you'll never be billed for two.
USING THE APP
How do I get out of Kid Mode?
Tap the small three-dot button in the top-left corner, then either hold the circle for a few seconds or answer the sum, depending on which exit method you chose in Settings, under Kid Mode.
My child can't read yet — will they manage?
That's what the app is designed for. Every step is a photograph of your child's own things with one big Done button; cover every word on the screen and it still works. Recording a short voice note in your own voice for each step helps a great deal.
Reminders aren't arriving
Check that notifications are allowed: Settings, then RoutiKid, then Notifications. Then check in RoutiKid that the routine has a reminder set and that today is one of its scheduled days — a Monday-to-Friday routine deliberately stays quiet on a Sunday.
Turning on iCloud sync
Sync needs RoutiKid Pro and an iPhone or iPad signed into iCloud. Turn it on in Settings, under Sync, inside the app. Your routines are copied into your own private iCloud database — we have no access to it. The first sync can take a minute or two.
What does "unprompted" mean in the report?
A step counts as unprompted when it was marked done before its timer ran out. A step with no timer can never be prompted, so it always counts as unprompted. Skipped steps never count against your child.
Exporting the Independence Report
Open Progress, scroll to the bottom and tap the export button, then share the PDF. This is a Pro feature. The report is a plain record of what the app observed — it is not a clinical assessment. See the Terms of Use.
YOUR DATA
How do I delete everything?
Deleting a child, a routine or a step removes it and its photographs and voice notes from your device immediately. Deleting the app removes everything at once. If you had iCloud sync on, also remove RoutiKid's data in Settings, then your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage.
Do you have a copy of my child's information?
No. There is no account and no server that stores it. The full detail of what does and doesn't leave your device is in the Privacy Policy.
Can I move my routines to a new phone?
With Pro and iCloud sync on, sign into the same iCloud account on the new device and they will appear. Without sync, an encrypted iPhone backup restored to the new device also brings them across.
