Where we help - we eradicate polio

Polio eradication is Rotary´s longest standing project. Between the years 1988 and 2020, we have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries. We have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide and we will not stop until we end the disease for good.

All donations given to polio eradication through the Rotary Foundation will be matched 1:3 (i.e. tripled) by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
