Dear supporter of the Rotary Foundation - Major Donor / Bequest Society member / Arch Klumph Society member,
Representing the Rotary Foundation in our zone 17 I want to warmly thank you for the significant donation you made to the Rotary Foundation during the year 2021 - 2022.
You personal donors are a cornerstone of the activities of our Foundation and give a good example to all the other Rotarians when doing good in the world.
The task of the Rotary Foundation is to help Rotarians in their humanitarian projects that improve education, cure and prevent diseases, diminish poverty and create peace all over the world. During the previous year our Foundation got once again - already the fourteenth time in a row - full four stars in the evaluation of Charity Navigator. This means that the Rotary Foundation is exceptionally sustainable and cost-effective. Every donation given to it goes exactly where it is intended to go.
Last year the Foundation introduced a new area of focus, environment. The first Program of Scale was started - together with Gates Foundation and World Vision we will eradicate malaria from certain parts of Zambia. In spring it took our Foundation very little time to organize effective support for the victims of the conflict in Ukraine. And all the time we have continued our effort to eradicate polio.
I hope that you will continue to do good in the world through the Rotary Foundation. If you have any questions concerning how you could direct your support to the Foundation, please contact me and we can look at the various opportunities. Also follow my website (https://www.RotaryZone17.org/emga) as I hope that in the future you could find find their news that interest you.
Kind regards, Leila Risteli
