The Small Acts of Rotary Kindness (SAORK) initiative is a collaboration among Rotary and Rotaract clubs to support amazing organizations in our community one small act at a time.
Since March 19, our team has been hard at work.
Gathered 6 Rotary Clubs and 2 Rotaract Clubs.
25+ SAORK committee members spanning 5 generations.
Committed 350+ volunteer hours.
Made 400+ hand made masks.
Delivered PPE, food, games, and other essentials to 14+ organizations.
Crowd funded $4,150 CAD; and received a Rotary District 7070 grant to go with it.
Conducted 12+ weekly meetings to date.
Supported hundreds of individuals impacted by COVID-19.
30+ social media posts with thousands of impressions.
Collected donations from Dr. Raffy and Dr. CP Giri's dentistry for hygiene items.

The Community Garden Challenge is an extension of HIP’s Youth-to-Youth engagement program, an innovative initiative aimed at uniting Indigenous and non-Indigenous youth to take action to create lasting change.
Ultimately, the goals are to:
Build lasting relationships between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous youth
Promote cultural awareness and safety
Inspire and empower diverse youth to work together towards providing food solutions for their communities.

Help out in running the online events
Participate in the Garden challenge by planting, growing and harvesting any type of food source, and share your experiences through or Social Media channels
