Stella is an undergrad student in the cognitive science program at McGill University, majoring in neuroscience. Prior to university, she graduated with a bilingual IB diploma from Toronto French School and took a gap year where she completed internships and volunteered in Madrid, Milan, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Indonesia. She is interested in learning about healthcare, fitness, art, travel, youth engagement and community service.

Jamieson is a Student At Law who is exploring the intersections of business and law at Smith and Associates. He has been involved in youth organizations such as Ontario Youth Parliament, Global Vision, and Air Cadets. He is passionate about how he can apply project management thinking to improve the efficacy of youth-centered non-profits. Jamieson is a believer in constant improvement and loves to discuss personal productivity. He balances his professional work with farm work and forestry.

Karina Kurmanbayeva

Member Engagement Committee Lead, Rotaract GTA Connect

Karina is a product designer turned product manager, currently at RBC. She has led research, design and development of various mobile, web applications and A.P.I.s. She is a highly collaborative and motivated problem solver, on a mission, to create products that would improve and enrich people's lives. On the Rotaract team, in 2020 she’s led our social media efforts, and now she is leading our Member Engagement Committee.

Currently, he is in preparation for law school admissions, while working with the North York Community House to aid in the integration of newcomers and refugees into the North York community. Michael is a commerce student at McMaster University, specializing in accounting. Currently, he is doing a 16-month internship at Ford Motor Company as the Payroll Accounting Intern. Michael was an attendee at the District 7070 Rotary Youth Leadership Awards in 2019 and served as the treasurer for Rotaract GTA Connect for the 2019-2020 Rotary year.

Shokoufeh is a product leader with extensive experience in the ed-tech industry. At Online Reading Tutor she is determined to help all kids around the world; who suffer from dyslexia, become fluent readers. She enjoys traveling so that she could explore cultures and food, camping in nature, and she’s an avid swimmer and skier.

She enjoys topics such as entrepreneurship, innovation; especially in environmental and educational fields, equality and pets.

Anisah Kirefu

Anisah is a student at Laurentian University studying History. She hopes to become a teacher or a speech language pathologist. She has worked with the Toronto District School Board where she had assisted the principal, admin staff as well as student supervisory responsibilities. She has worked with the Jays care foundation to help under privileged youth learn the joys of sports through baseball. She had also had the privilege of traveling abroad to India and East Africa and the United Kingdom.
