About Me

Hi! My name is Rosie Deslauriers and I'm a fourth year student at McGill University.I was born and raised in the Vancouver, BC, but I currently live in Montreal for school. I am an Industrial Relations Major and a Communications Minor.

When I graduate at the end of this year, I will be taking some time off school to travel and explore the world. After my travels, I hope to get an internship in Human Resources to pursue Labour Relations.

Professional Experiences!

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to teach others. In every job I've done, I have chosen to pursued this passion further. In high school, I was a musical theatre and dance teacher, and I also I directed several plays. After high school, I worked as a camp councillor for two years, leading the staff in training unit. The past couple summers, I was the Program Coordinator helping run a summer camp for children in Vancouver. This passion is why I've chosen to study Industrial Relations, as I see this as a way to help both the employees and the employers how to navigate the workplace and their relationship.

Hobbies and Interests!

Some of my hobbies include singing, dancing, arts and crafts, and photography. When I am not in school, you can find me exploring the city, seeking new experiences and adventures, or spending time with my friends.
