Celebrating Lives
Rosenda's Gift Gallery
Providing Solace and Comfort
Memorials hold profound importance for grieving families, offering them a tangible way to honor the life and memory of their loved ones.
These lasting tributes become sacred spaces where love and remembrance converge, thus providing relief and support to those navigating the deep pain of loss.
Beyond their physical presence, memorials serve as enduring symbols of connection, preserving cherished stories and ensuring that the legacies of those we have lost persist for generations to come.
They allow families and communities alike to find not only a source of peace but also a way to celebrate the irreplaceable lives that continue to shape their hearts while creating a tangible reminder of the love that remains.
In the face of unimaginable loss, these memorials become powerful beacons of healing, resilience, and hope, guiding families as they navigate the journey of grief while keeping the memory of their loved ones close to their hearts.
A Gift of for Bryson
It is with deep gratitude and compassion that we share this special milestone: Rosenda’s Gift has provided our very first memorial to a grieving family in need.
We had the honor of helping Traci Kirk, a mother who longed to mark her beloved son's grave but could not afford a headstone. Through your support, we were able to provide a memorial for Mr. Bryson Edward Kirk, a young man remembered for his quiet strength and selfless heart. This small gesture cannot erase her sorrow, but we hope it brings Traci and her family a measure of peace in their time of mourning.
Bryson was born on April 10, 2004, in Jackson, Tennessee, and departed this world far too soon on November 4, 2024. Traci shared this about her son:
“He was truly selfless. He was always helping others. He helped me care for my paraplegic son. If not for Bryson, neither me, nor my other son would have made it through.”

At Rosenda’s Gift, our mission is simple but profound: to comfort suffering families who have lost a child. We choose to honor how a person lived, not how they died. We never question the cause. We simply respond to the grief of those left behind because every life has meaning, and there is no pain deeper than losing a child.
This is why Rosenda’s Gift exists.
Grave Site Before Marker
June 9, 2025
On April 3, 2025, Traci Kirk reached out to Rosenda’s Gift to begin the process of placing a grave marker for her son, Bryson. After researching options, she decided on a 16 x 8 x 3-inch black granite laser-etched marker, which was officially ordered on April 9, 2025, from Markers and Headstones Co.
Following confirmation and coordination with Ridgecrest Cemetery, the marker was successfully delivered to the cemetery on April 24, 2025. Despite some delays in installation, Leah at Ridgecrest Cemetery confirmed receipt and scheduled the placement. After multiple follow-ups, the marker was finally installed today, marking the completion of Rosenda’s Gift’s first donation.
Now resting at Bryson’s gravesite, this tribute stands as a lasting expression of love and remembrance, ensuring his legacy endures.

Aubrey Kay's Memorial Brick
Rosenda’s Gift was honored to provide a commemorative brick for Rachel Delayo in memory of her daughter, Aubrey Kay Delayo, who was born on October 16, 2023, and passed away on November 10, 2023. Though Aubrey's time on Earth lasted just twenty-five days, her presence left a profound and lasting impression on those who loved her.
In April 2025, Rachel reached out to Rosenda’s Gift seeking a tangible and enduring way to honor Aubrey’s memory. A brick was ordered through the Friends of the Santa Ana Zoo and placed by the Wishing Well, creating a space where Aubrey is remembered and her story is silently, powerfully held in stone. The message Rachel chose for her daughter’s brick reads:
AUBREY KAY DELAYO
10/16/23 – 11/10/23
MOMMY’S BUTTERFLY
CHILD OF GOD FOREVER
LOVED FOREVER MISSED
Psalm 139:13-16
The words reflect Aubrey’s spiritual identity, the lasting love of her mother, and the sacredness of even the shortest life. “Mommy’s Butterfly” evokes transformation, remembrance, and the continued connection between mother and child. The verse from Psalm 139 speaks of being known and loved before birth, reassuring Rachel and others that Aubrey’s life, though brief, was deeply seen and infinitely valued. This affirms that Aubrey’s soul was known, loved, and held in divine care from the very beginning.Rachel reached out to Rosenda’s Gift in April 2025. Her loving message for the brick was finalized by late April, with the order completed in early May. On June 27, 2025, the brick was officially installed, and Rachel was invited to visit, with complimentary admission arranged through the Friends of the Santa Ana Zoo.
This act of remembrance reflects the very heart of Rosenda’s Gift: to offer comfort through memory and presence, and to let every grieving parent know their child’s life mattered, and still matters. Aubrey is now forever woven into the fabric of a place that welcomes laughter, love, and remembrance.
This offering, made possible through Rosenda’s Gift, reflects the heart of its mission: to help grieving families create lasting tributes that speak to love, memory, and healing. Aubrey will always be remembered as a child of God, as her mother’s butterfly, and as a precious life whose story now lives on in a place of reflection and quiet grace.
Aubrey died as a result of Shaken Baby Syndrome, a preventable form of abusive head trauma in infants. Her story is a heartbreaking reminder of the urgent need for education, awareness, and protection for our most vulnerable.
Preventing Shaken Baby Syndrome
Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS), also known as Abusive Head Trauma (AHT), is a devastating and entirely preventable form of brain injury caused by violent shaking of an infant. Even a few seconds of forceful shaking can lead to permanent brain damage, blindness, or death.
Prevention begins with awareness. Caregivers and family members should be informed about the dangers of shaking a baby and supported with tools to manage stress during moments of frustration, especially in response to prolonged crying. Community education, safe caregiving resources, and early intervention programs save lives.
Rosenda’s Gift encourages all families to learn the signs of abuse, know where to turn for help, and share this message with others. In honoring Aubrey, we affirm the urgency of protecting the most vulnerable among us.
For resources, visit: www.dontshake.org
Aubrey’s story, like Rosenda’s, reminds us that every child’s life is sacred, and that remembrance must walk hand in hand with action. Through gifts like these and the awareness they spark, we honor lives lost too soon. Please join us in supporting grieving families by making a generous donation to Rosenda's Gift.

Gifted to Patricia Armor | Titanium Plaque | Port Orange, Florida
We are honored to share a special Gift from Rose, a memorial item dedicated to Sarah Elizabeth Armor, a young woman whose memory shines with love, light, and an unwavering spirit. Known to her proud mother, Patricia, as “Sarah Bear, My Sunshine,” Sarah was a warrior who always stood up for the underdog and was the first to offer a hug. This passion for helping others guided her to become a nurse, where she was called an “angel” by her patients for the care and “sunshine” she brought into their lives. Rosenda’s Gift was honored to provide this gorgeous plaque. Through this memorial, Rosenda's Gift ensured that Sarah will not be forgotten.
The custom 8"x8" titanium plaque now rests in Sarah’s memorial garden in Port Orange, Florida, where it will be permanently mounted on a specially chosen stone. Crafted for durability and timeless beauty, its brushed silver finish and precision-etched design preserve Sarah’s legacy with strength and grace.
The inscription features a deeply moving testimonial from one of Sarah’s patients, someone who experienced her daily encouragement, sincerity, and radiant compassion firsthand. Sarah worked with individuals in recovery, many of whom described her as a light during their darkest days. Her memory continues to comfort others, just as she once did in life.
To extend that legacy even further, a QR code embedded in the plaque links to a YouTube tribute video created by Sarah’s brother, allowing visitors to learn her story and feel her presence.
With Patricia’s blessing, the plaque bears the phrase:
“Courtesy of Rosenda’s Gift”
This represents a quiet acknowledgment of shared love between families, and a promise that Sarah’s light will endure through compassion, remembrance, and community.

A Beautiful Bench for Marciel
A Place for Marciel: Bench of Remembrance at Thousand Pines

A Bench of Love for Junior
Rosenda’s Gift is honored to donate a memorial bench to Sally Sukdol in loving memory of her son, Douglas “Junior” Robert Sukdol Jr. Junior passed away on December 15, 2023 at only twenty seven years old, leaving behind his longtime partner of eleven years and their three young children. His mother shared that he was taken to the hospital for pneumonia and suffered a heart attack days later, a loss that shattered the family and the community around him.
Junior was known as a devoted father, a loyal partner, and a young man whose humor and warmth lifted the people in his life. Friends and neighbors rallied to support his family, recognizing the love he carried for his children and the impact he had on those who knew him. The memorial bench stands as a place of remembrance for Sally and for everyone who loved him, a quiet space to honor his life and the legacy he leaves through his children.
The bench carries Junior’s full name and the dates of his life, framed by the words “Forever Loved and Never Forgotten,” a message that reflects the depth of his mother’s grief and the permanence of her love. The plaque placed with the bench expands on who he was, describing a young man who made others laugh, who gave generously, who was a loyal friend, and who carried his mother through storms with his presence and his hugs. It honors him as a devoted father of three and a partner who shared a lasting love, and it preserves the truth that he was cherished, needed, and irreplaceable.
The plaque placed with the bench carries Sally’s full voice, preserving the truth of who Junior was in her eyes. She writes about a son who filled rooms with laughter, who lifted her through the hardest storms, who gave the kind of hugs a mother never forgets, and who brought joy to everyone around him. She honors him as a loving father of three, a devoted partner, a loyal friend, and a young man whose instinct to give began in childhood and never left him. Her words reveal the closeness they shared, the gratitude she holds for the years she had with him, and the depth of the loss she now carries.
The second half of the plaque holds a poem about daily remembrance, speaking to the quiet, constant ache of grief and the truth that remembering him is effortless, but living without him is not. Together, the bench and plaque ensure that anyone who stops to read them understands the magnitude of a mother’s love, the weight of her sorrow, and the enduring legacy of her son.

Through Rosenda’s Gift, Michelle Moon and Doug McMillan honored the memory of their daughter Danielle with a commemorative 8x8 brick now installed beside the Wishing Well at the Santa Ana Zoo, a location that holds profound meaning for the Rosenda’s Gift community. Installed in June 2025, the brick serves as a tribute not only to Danielle’s life but to the enduring love of parents who hold her in their hearts every day.
Brick Inscription: DANIELLE MCMILLAN 12/15/1994 – 10/9/2020 KINDHEARTED SELFLESS LOVING LOYAL PRETTY LOVE & MISS YOU BOO BE AT PEACE!
Danielle was a daughter who radiated warmth and gave generously of herself. She didn’t hold back her affection or her laughter, and she lived with the sort of open-heartedness that left imprints on those fortunate enough to know her.
In choosing the words for their brick, Michelle and Doug carefully summoned Danielle’s essence, conveying her grace, her personality, and the pet name they still whisper with love: Boo. The final words, “Be at peace!”, are a quiet prayer and a daily wish, carved into clay but echoing in their hearts. This memorial is not only a marker of a life ended too soon, but a testament to the powerful, continuing bond between parent and child.

David’s words are quiet but resolute, etched with the voice of a brother who knew Danielle’s inner strength and unwavering loyalty. These few lines speak volumes. “It is God alone who judges” is both a shield and a declaration: a statement of love, faith, and the refusal to let Danielle’s story be simplified or misrepresented. In his eyes, she was courageous, complex, and deeply loved, and that truth now rests in stone.
