"BREAD FOR ALL, AND ROSES TOO"
WHO ARE WE?
ROSE RANK AND FILE (RRF) is an informal network of Local 1930 members, run by self-identified organizers. We come from all five boroughs, span a range of departments and titles, and have been with NYPL anywhere from 1 to 30 years.
Rose Rank and File (RRF) is NOT affiliated with the Local 1930 executive board. It is a network of concerned workers in Local 1930, but not an official publication of Local 1930 or DC 37.
WHAT DO WE WANT?
To foster community and solidarity between Branch, Research, and BookOps workers
To have a Local that invests in union education and encourages member participation
To influence memorandums of agreement and contract negotiations with NYPL

What's in a Name?
"Rose" refers to NYPL's Rose Main Reading Room, as well as the phrase "Bread for all, and roses too" from Helen M. Todd's 1911 "Getting Out the Vote" speech.
