RoomProof documents guest-collected photos of visible room concerns only. It does not determine whether a room is clean, sanitary, safe, or pest-free.
Information We Collect
RoomProof does not require an account.
RoomProof does not collect your name, email address, password, account profile, social profile, or login credentials inside the app.
The app may use the following information on your device to provide its features:
Photos you take inside RoomProof
Report information you enter, such as hotel or lodging name, room number, request type, and notes
Scan type, scan steps, timestamps, and photo counts
App settings, such as App Interface Language, Default Report Language, and auto-capture preferences
Purchase status provided by Apple through StoreKit
This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
Camera Use
RoomProof uses the camera so you can take photos for your local room evidence report.
RoomProof does not use the camera to identify people, recognize faces, detect room problems, or perform AI image analysis.
You can control camera permission through your device settings. Some app features may not work if camera permission is disabled.
On-Device Storage
RoomProof is designed to work locally on your device.
Reports and photos are stored on your device. RoomProof does not upload your reports, photos, hotel names, room numbers, notes, or PDFs to the developer.
RoomProof does not send your photos or reports to a third-party AI service.
Reports and Export
RoomProof can create local reports from the photos and information you choose to enter.
RoomProof Pro users may export PDF reports.
Reports and PDF files are created locally on your device. You choose where to save or share exported files.
If you share a message, photo, or PDF report with another app, person, hotel, host, property support service, or cloud service, that sharing is controlled by you and by the privacy practices of the destination you choose.
Multiple Languages
RoomProof can create guest request messages and PDF reports in multiple languages.
Translations are provided for convenience only. RoomProof does not provide certified translation services.
User-entered hotel names, room numbers, and notes are displayed as entered and are not translated by RoomProof.
Purchases
RoomProof Pro is a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store.
We do not process your payment information directly.
Apple may provide purchase status information to the app so that Pro features can be unlocked or restored.
Refunds, payment processing, purchase history, and App Store account management are handled by Apple.
Free and Pro Features
RoomProof may offer free and paid features.
Free features may include limited saved reports and local guest request message creation.
RoomProof Pro may include unlimited saved reports and PDF report export.
Feature availability may change over time.
Third-Party Services
RoomProof uses Apple system services for app distribution, in-app purchases, restoration of purchases, device permissions, and system sharing.
The app may link to external pages such as our website, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Use. These pages may open in your browser.
RoomProof does not use advertising SDKs.
RoomProof does not use third-party analytics SDKs.
We do not sell your personal data.
Data Deletion
RoomProof stores reports and photos locally on your device.
You can delete individual reports in the app.
You can delete all reports and photos using the app’s delete-all-data option if available.
You can also remove local app data by deleting the app from your device.
If you exported reports, saved PDFs, shared photos, copied messages, or sent files outside the app, you are responsible for deleting those files from wherever they were saved or shared.
Children's Privacy
RoomProof is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through support contact, please contact us so we can review and delete it if appropriate.
Product Boundary
RoomProof documents guest-collected photos of visible room concerns only.
RoomProof does not determine whether a room is clean, sanitary, safe, or pest-free.
RoomProof does not detect pests, insects, mold, blood, hidden cameras, hazards, safety issues, or health conditions.
RoomProof does not provide legal, lodging, inspection, safety, medical, insurance, or professional advice.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page.
