Morning Journal:

Make a sign to support our healthcare workers!

Today's journal assignment is to make a sign to support our healthcare workers! Ms. Cho's husband works for the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center and's he's organizing a way to give the nurses and doctors a BIG thank you! Show off your beautiful handwriting and art skills by making a poster showing your thanks and appreciation. Be creative, use any poster size, and write whatever you'd like! Parents, please take a picture of your child holding their sign and send it their teacher by TONIGHT. The picture will be sent to a doctor or nurse at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. It's a wonderful way to show our thanks and support and we know it would really brighten their day during this difficult time! This is completely optional. You can also take a picture of your child's work without them in the photo if you're more comfortable with that.

STEM:

• Create 2D and 3D shapes using toothpicks with mini marshmallows, play doh, or clay. You can create as many as you like! You can work on this all week. Send us pictures of your creations and have fun!
