This sterling silver box is one of my neatest finds. It's dated 1904 on one side and monogrammed with the initials C.M. on the other. It was found on the courthouse lawn in Paw Paw, Michigan around 1979. I don't know what it was used for. I've had suggestions of sewing needles (they must've been small ones), pillbox (they didn't have pills back then), snuff box (too small), and dope box. What do you think?
