The entire project was executed end-to-end, starting with the technical characterization of the Source to Target (S2T) mapping and culminating in the development of reports to analyze and understand the college's business situation.
On a personal level, I can confidently say that this project has contributed to my growth in several ways:
I had my first experience using a tool like SSIS, which I found effective for building ETL processes. However, it is not very user-friendly, and I am certain there are more modern and convenient tools available in the market today.
We encountered several moments of crisis throughout the project, often driven by uncertainty, the learning curve, and frequent questions like, "Why isn't this working?" These challenges pushed us to troubleshoot and adapt, building resilience and deeper understanding.
The most valuable takeaway from this project for me was gaining proficiency. The more we explored and worked with our operational database, the better we understood it. This growing familiarity allowed us to develop clearer strategies and confidently move the project forward.
