AT THE AIRPORT IN ROME

Once you have landed at the Rome Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino (FCO), you will go through passport control if coming directly from the United States. Students who arrive via other European Union airports will go through immigration at their first stop before taking the connection to Rome.

After that, you will go to baggage claim and exit the airport following the very clearly marked signs for the taxi line. This exit will be straight in front of you as you exit the baggage claim area. When you exit the baggage claim area, you will see a Rome campus staff member holding a blue and yellow Trinity College Rome Campus sign. He/she will help you to get into a private bus or car for Casa Publicii or Casa Anselmo. 

If you are arriving on a different day or by train, please make arrangements to arrive on campus on January 4th. You can contact anyone from the Rome staff if you need assistance or help in planning your arrival.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO CASA ANSELMO AND CASA PUBLICII

You will be welcomed by the Resident Assistants, who will be there to help you if you have any questions. 

You will be given a welcome package and lunch. You will have a free day to explore Rome and settle in.

There will be an orientation meeting and welcome dinner later on that day. 

ORIENTATION

During the first days of the program, the program director and other program staff will provide you with a comprehensive on-site orientation that will give you information on your program location, culture, academics, and health and safety. Through group outings and discussions, students are introduced to the host country and provided with tools for a safe and successful summer session. Orientation is also a time to review program objectives and develop relationships within the student group. Please note: all orientation activities are mandatory for all students.

It is important you let us know if there is a delay in your flight, or any incident that affects your programmed arrival time.
