As the chair of Rombouts I preside the committee meetings and oversee the arrangement of our activities, ensuring that we as a team are able to move forward with our planning. I have completed bachelor degrees in Chinastudies and Business Administration, and master degrees in East-Asia Studies and Finance.

Hi there! My name is Lan-Xin and I am the secretary of the 2021 Conference committee. As the secretary of the committee, I work closely with the chair of Rombouts to support him. My main responsibility lies in overseeing the communication between the conference and its speakers and panelists. I have recently completed my BA in Chinastudies and will be starting my MA Chinese Studies this September. I look forward to seeing everyone at the Conference!

Hello there! My name is Florence and I am the treasurer of the 2021 Conference committee. My role takes place behind the scenes as I am in charge of the funding of the conference and keeping track of the conference's expenses and managing the conference's website. I have recently completed my BA Chinastudies while undertaking the BA Japanstudies and the BA Koreastudies. I look forward to the conference highlighting various aspects of Chinese identity!

Hi there! My name is Xin Yi and I am the conference planner of the 2021 Conference committee. As a conference planner I manage all aspects of the conference. My main responsibilities are to oversee the scheduling of activities, location, catering, restaurants, partnerships and making sure that the conference will run smoothly. I have completed my BSc in Business Administration and I am currently doing my BA in Chinastudies. Starting from September I will also start my MSc in International Management/CEMS Programme. I look forward to this year’s conference and seeing you guys!

Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Michelle and I am the Digital Marketing Director of the 2021 Conference committee. As the Digital Marketing Director I oversee all marketing related tasks. Together with Emilie Lo, we come up with Marketing strategies and create promotional and social media content for the Conference. Last summer I completed my BA in Chinese Studies and currently I am doing my BA in Japanese Studies. I hope to see you soon and I wish you loads of fun at the conference!

Hello, lovely to meet you all! My name is Emilie and I am the Digital Marketing Manager of the 2021 Conference committee. As the Manager of Digital Marketing, I work very closely together with Michelle to come up with various Marketing strategies. In addition to that, we design and produce advertising content for our social network. After the summer, I will head into my second year of the BA in Chinese Studies. I am very much looking forward to the conference and I hope to see all of you there!
