George C. Roeding

George C. Roeding bought the California Nursery Company in 1917. At that time, he owned the Fancher Creek Nursery in Fresno and various other operations. He was a very experienced and well-known horticulturalist and businessman. In his biography is this interesting tid-bit about how he renovated an apricot orchard in Ventura County.
