💜 Honoring Those Lost Too Soon  💜

This year, our 17th Annual Rods N Rock Car Show is adding a special layer of impact. We are proudly dedicating our 2026 show to Alzheimer’s Awareness in loving memory of crew member Andy's aunt, Charlene, who passed away earlier this year from early-onset Alzheimer’s.

Charlene loved fast rides and drove many sports cars throughout her life—especially her cherished Corvettes. She was so proud of her niece and nephews and supported them in everything they did; from soccer games to motocross, she loved watching them pursue what they loved and always knew how to make each one feel special. She cherished getting together with family and visiting friends. Being diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's was devastating, as her family watched her gradually lose the ability to do everything she loved.

Behind every Alzheimer’s diagnosis is a person with a rich story, a loving family, and a community that cares deeply for them.  Charlene’s journey inspired us to look beyond our show and use our platform to make a meaningful difference. Across North Dakota, thousands of families are fighting the daily challenges of memory loss. By sharing her story and raising awareness, we honor her legacy and stand alongside every family in our region walking this same path.

We want to honor Charlene's memory and remember all those who have been affected by Alzheimer's by turning the car show purple with pinwheels. Help us by purchasing a pinwheel at registration for $5 and "plant" it by your ride or in our garden of hope.  

100% of all pinwheel proceeds will go directly to a regional Alzheimer's memory care center to purchase enrichment and activity items for residents currently battling the disease.
