In order to help prepare our youth cheerleaders for competitive cheerleading in middle and high school, we offer an exhibition cheer team for students in grades 3-6.
Exhibition cheer team/s learn a routine similar to the routines performed by at the middle and high school level. Teams then travel to local competitive cheer competitions where they are able to showcase their routine to the crowd. Exhibition cheer is a great way to develop the skills needed for competitive cheer, and a perfect introduction to the sport.
Teams are coached by current and former Rockford Cheer coaches, and parent volunteers.
Teams practice either once or twice a week (depending on team placement) in the evening starting mid November, and end their season with a final performance in mid-January (no practice/performances during Winter Break).
In order to offer all athletes the appropriate instruction and team environment, we offer multiple exhibition teams each year. Team division/selection is based on grade, cheer experience, and a brief skill evaluation.
ALL students are welcome-regardless of experience or skill- but space is limited!
Sign ups for the 2025-2026 season are now closed. Please check back next year!
