Nearpod

This is an active-responding online software that allows students to log into their devices (wherever they are) and engage in lecture - not just sitting back and listening but truly engaging.

Having received grants for instructional design initiatives within school, I utilized Nearpod for both in-class and blended modalities for students. This work also was a key factor in my 2020 Distinguished Teaching Award at The Chicago School.

THIS EXAMPLE was from an assessment course teaching preference assessment considerations.

Kialo

This is an online debate platform that I use not only for debates between students, but also as a way to engage in a general question while defending both sides of an argument to provide perspective.

THIS EXAMPLE (the LEFT embedded example at the side) has students arguing both sides of an argument.

THIS EXAMPLE (the RIGHT embedded example) has studednts present one argument and then comment on other's.

Canvas

Canvas is a Learning Management System (LMS) that assists in running relevant courses. By clicking on the Canvas logo (or CLICKING HERE) you will be able to see a full course that was recreated with me as Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME).
