Here it is! My very first video game. This was the final project of my Independent Design and Portfolio course. In this class I learned some of the core movement and vector functions used to make video games come to life. I was the sole designer, tester, and builder for this project. There are still some minor bugs to work out, but the game runs correctly. I have begun working on a fifth level since submitting the finished assignment. When I learn more about coding in C#, I shall return to Crates and Ramps to add even more puzzles.
The file downloads can be found at the bottom of this page. You'll also find a download for my other game, "Escape Room."
Level 4 of Crates and Ramps. The game is punishing in that if you lose a Crate or Ramp, or drop a Crate into the wrong slot, it becomes impossible to finish the level. By this point, I had completed the C# scripts for moving around, picking up and dropping objects, and moving between scenes. Level 4 was my chance to get a bit more creative in the level design.
Level 5 mid construction. When I learn more about scripting in C#, I will add teleport pads, elevators, pressure plates, you name it. For now, just move the crates around to get to the end.
Please let me know via email if something does not open correctly. You'll need Unity 2018
