This program is a curriculum-based program that teaches computer science skills and the Python programming language in a team setting through hands-on use of a Tello EDU mini drone. After utilizing the curriculum in the classroom or after school, students can showcase their skills and accomplishments at *Aerial Challenge Days, competition events where student teams work to solve progressively more difficult challenges.
The mission was to take off from horizontal hula hoop, fly forward past elevated vertical hula hoop, use left/right to make a 90 degree turn, forward through second vertical hula hoop and land in 2nd horizontal hula hoop.
This was our first task and was relatively simple, doing it helped me learn the basics for the following tasks.
The goal with this task was to take off from hula hoop, drop down, forward under rod, lift up, forward over barrier, land in hula hoop.
This task had a few difficulties which were mainly trial and error of trying to get the height of the drone going up and down to be accurate
The task was to make an octagon in the air using cw or ccw and Loop and then return to the take off hula hoop.
Before I used a while loop code, I had a repeated code eight times which was not efficient, using the while loop saves space and time in the IDLE.
The task was to make it so python asks for a number of sides, whatever number the user input, that's the number of sides the shape it flies in will have
This task was quite difficult but very satisfying when i finally got it, using inputs and while loops I was able to get it after a whole days.
Task at hand was to take off from hula hoop, use curve to make horizontal circle, use curve to make vertical circle, use circle to make diagonal circle, land in hula hoop.
The video for this task was over 2 minutes
