In Orbit explores the idea of connection through abstract human-like forms arranged in a continuous circle building one another up. Using bold colour, stylised figures and graphic compositions the work reflects the ways people support, influence and shape one another throughout life. The circular movement symbolises unity, growth and the ongoing cycles of learning, community and shared experience and celebrates strength found in human connection.
This piece was created digitally with early concepts and sketches developed in Procreate. The final composition, rendering and colour work were completed in Photoshop.

Jasmine is a UK based illustrator and character concept artist working primarily in digital media. Her work combines stylised realism with bold colour palettes, expressive linework and graphic design influences. Inspired by visual storytelling she creates character driven illustrations that explore mood, identity and narrative through composition and vibrant colour.
My work is driven by an interest with people and the stories they carry. Through illustration I explore themes of connection and belonging, often creating characters and scenes that encourages the audience to imagine the narratives beyond the image. I am particularly interested in how shared experiences shape us and how this can be communicated emotion without words. My practice is an ongoing exploration of exploring two worlds.
