Road to Eagle Scout

SEVEN Steps for Road to Eagle:

1. Have active participation after earning Life Scout rank

2. Live the values of the Scout Oath and Scout Law (to note that you will need references from adults in your life)

3. Earn 21 merit badges, with 13 of those Eagle required badges

4. Hold position of responsibility--while a Life Scout, you need to serve at least six months in position of responsibility

5. Complete Eagle Scout Service Project

a. Prepare PROJECT PROPOSAL (in Eagle Workbook) and get approved by beneficiary/sponsor, Scout leader, troop committee, and District Eagle Representative

b. Prepare for project and write PROJECT PLAN (in Eagle Workbook)

c. Complete project

d. Write PROJECT REPORT (in Eagle Workbook) and get signatures of self, beneficiary, and Scout leader

6. Participate in Scoutmaster Conference

7. Complete Eagle Scout Rank application and Eagle Board of Review
