Do you like bikes?
A Boy Scout from Troop 647 created a Bike Safety Rodeo Event for elementary school age kids. The event took place on Sunday, November 15th, 2020 at the Washington & Liberty High School Parking Garage. He organized four sessions, each lasting 1 hour and thirty minutes, from 12:00-3:30 PM. This event had kids learn about bike safety, learn basic bike maintenance, ride on a fun age-appropriate course, and participate in fun and safe biking games! The event followed all COVID-19 safety procedures, including required face masks, social distancing, and readily available hand sanitizer. This was a great opportunity to get kids outside and go to a fun and safe event! And all participants received a small goodie-bag with biking-related items!
