A little bit about me! This is my 11th year teaching and my 9th year as a teacher at Revere. Before teaching 6th grade ELA I was an intervention specialist at Norton Middle School, and I taught 8th grade ELA here at Revere as well. I am also an alum of Revere Local Schools!

I graduated from the University of Akron with a bachelors degree in Middle Level Education. A few years later, I completed my masters in Instructional Technology. I am currently working on my second masters in Curriculum and Instruction. 

In 2017 I got married to my husband Neil Duncan. We have two cats, Bug and Bubba, and a dog, Dixie. I love reading books, going to Indians games, watching Netflix, taking my dog on hikes, and spending time at my family's boat, or at my husband's family's cow and horse farm.

Here at school I am the head coach for 7th and 8th grade girls track and field, and as of this year, I will be the co-yearbook advisor!
